Choosing a nursery is a big decision for any parent – you want the very best care, education and safety. Many of our parents come to us through friends recommendations or are previous customers.
If you are thinking of looking for a nursery these are some of the things we suggest you may want to look out for:
Childcare Funding

Early learning gives children the best start in life. Through learning and playing with other children in a safe and structured environment.
What you are entitled to
Your child may be eligible for the two year offer if you meet one or more of the eligibility criteria. Please click here to apply online
All three and four year olds are entitled to at least 15 hours of nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. This applies until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday). We have funded places available.
We also offer 30 hours funding to eligible parents. To find out if you are eligible please click here.

Childcare Funding
Is your child approaching their 2nd birthday?
They may be eligible for a free part-time place in a high quality childcare setting. Two year old early learning education offer. Your Health Visiting Team, Social Worker or Children’s Centre can discuss with you the benefits of your child taking up a free part-time childcare place. Places will be provided in local childcare settings (including Childminders and some Schools from September 14). All providers will have received a good or outstanding Ofsted report. All childcare providers participate in Knowsley Council’s Quality Assurance Scheme. Your child can attend 15 hours per week over 38 weeks (school term times) or 11½ hours per week spread over 50 weeks including school holidays.

Extra financial help
The free entitlement may not cover your family’s needs because of things like work commitments. If this is the case you may be able to get financial help with the costs of extra childcare.
